Hello, I'm Emily R.
I have been a lifelong horse person and have worked with horses everywhere I've lived and visited in the world, including years of riding and working at a Centered Riding barn in New England, to the rural trails of southern Spain, and managing horse programs for camps in the mountains of California. My diverse background has given me a unique perspective on horsemanship and equine management that I continue to learn and grow from.

About My Experience
I began my career as a "barn rat" and worked as a stable hand and occasional groom for an English barn in New England. While studying in England, I also appreciated at a British Horse Society yard. On two separate occasions, I volunteered at a Lusitano equestrian center in the south of Spain, where I learned natural horsemanship techniques starting young horses and groomed to a high standard. Also in Spain, I spent some time working at a small trail riding operation, going out on tourist rides and taking general care of the horses. More recently, I have been working summers as the Equine Manager at camps for young girls, where I was in charge of caring for the camp's herd of horses, managing a team of wranglers, and leading activities for the campers. In the last year, I have also had experience working at a therapeutic riding center, where I was working with children that have emotional or physical disabilities.
