Hello, I'm Elysia S.
Hey everyone reading this! As a young girl, I was absolutely horse obsessed and spent almost all of my free time riding. As a teenager, I slowly spent less time riding until I stopped at the ripe age of 18. I blame all of the unique experiences and burnout on that. Fast forward to now, I decided that I want to work with myself instead of against it. That mostly includes going back to university for an exercise science degree, not fighting my ADHD tendencies with a boring desk job, and starting to get re-involved with horses.

About My Experience
As stated in my bio, I spent my entire childhood riding and interacting with horses, so I have a general feel of signs of danger and health in them. All of our horses (Quarter Horses, Tennessee Walking, retired race Thoroughbreds, and miniatures) were non-stalled except when injured, so most of my experience with stall maintenance comes from when I was at our local fair and when visiting my mother at her workplace. As to be expected of someone who rode and interacted with them, I know how to tack (western and cart harness), manage their grooming standards, how behave/modify my behavior based on their personalities, work trailer/farm equipment and manage emergencies with unexpected situations that occur with them and/or the property. Willing to learn anything that I do not already know and willing to learn medication needs for equine if needed
