Hello, my name is Julie MacDonald, and I am a wife and a mother of 2 children. I've been a horse-crazy girl since I was 4 years old. Horses are my favorite animal, and they are majestic. I know how to stay calm around horses. I'm not scared around them but I do have a healthy respect around them. I have always dreamed of working with horses as a career, and this is an answer to get me into the industry. I've ridden in the past, and I loved it, though I definitely need to refresh my riding. I am at an advanced beginner level, I would love to improve my riding skills. I would love to learn to jump and so many other things.

About My Experience
I was raised on a farm/ranch with cows and horses, so I've been around horses for many years. I worked at a kids' horse camp, and I was one of the wranglers who helped gather the horses, feed them, and help kids learn the basics of riding. In grade 12, I participated in the riding lesson program " Saddle Up," where I learned more about grooming horses, catching them, and tacking them up. We also learned about some equine-related illnesses and behaviours. I have helped some people with their horses to be calm around people and be ridden.
