About My Experience

My first experience that I remember with horses was roughly around the age of 2, I was hooked ever since. I started riding lessons at the age of 8, switching back and forth between western pleasure and English. By the time I was 13, my family had moved, looking for a new barn, I was shown Standfast farms. This barn was my first stable hand experience. From mucking stalls, turning out, to daily feeding time. For a stable of roughly 40 horses that were kept in stalls at night. There were 2 stallions at this barn when I was there. This barn gave me a tonne of experience. This barn specialized in Drassage and Western pleasure, where I had experienced my first horse show. After roughly 2 years of working at this barn. I had decided to move on to another stable in Nova Scotia that I absolutely adored, Equine Excellence. I found my love for reigning at this barn until I was 18.
